I think the problem with Seeker is that they have been getting subpar cards for a while, and nothing really to open other avenues of deckbuilding.

Seekers are the main class to find clues, and the other classes haven't completely caught up yet. So you need a seeker who can find clues, Milan fills this role perfectly in so many ways.

The relic theme is a nice build around but needs some more pieces for now to actually be viable.

I think the support build with stuff like Guidance could also use some more cards.

I have often described playing Seekers as: Spending actions to gain clues or spending actions to move to get clues or playing cards to make yourself better at getting clues and moving. I do agree with Seekers getting a number of lack luster cards.

On Rex, I saw a poll that stated that over 75% of people play mostly 1 or 2 player. Since Daisy and Minh have a large support component and support gets more powerful with number of players, its not surprising that Rex is viewed as a better choice overall. Ursula may start biting into that space with Rex but you are right, she needs a larger relic pool. Daisy could use some tomes as well that are more "single player".

Speaking of things that let you do your job more effectively, what about machete? There are some who would argue that it is the best all-around weapon in the game. Personally I always include 2 in my Guardian decks and they're the last thing I cut when I'm putting in upgraded weapons. Still, I think their targeting requirements keep them from being OP, but I'd like to hear why people think they crowd out all other level 0 weapons.

I did have a Mark Harrigan deck that ran 2 Colts and 1 Machete. But had i been creating that deck now, I would have taken Survival Knife over Machete, as for that deck Survival Knife was better .

Rex actually is less effective on single player. Almost half the locations only have 1 clue. Ursula is more effective for solo since she can grab the single clue and keep moving. Plus she has a better stat line for it.

Rex actually gets even more effective the more players you have. Just means more clues for you to cheat.

Finn is a good start, as is Pete. But we need more investigators with 4 intellect. Ones who aren't seekers. Either Survivor or Rouge seems likely as Guardian and Mystic have other roles. But an investigation focused Rogue or Survivor would be great.

pre- Forgotten Age, Daisy was better solo than Rex, but I will agree Ursula could claim this title in the Seeker class because of her action compression.

I actually haven't played a lot of single player so I will defer to you folks on it.

Rogues certainly have the toolkit for it. I'm super excited to try out my revised custom investigator that fits this role to a T. This is a bit of a shameless plug, but it is also absolutely on topic, and I agree.
