Happy Friday - time for a new bracket

By Church14, in Runewars Miniatures Game

Since all of our brackets were shattered for our predicted order for preview articles, let’s try this again.

what preview / announcement is next?

A) Latari hero #3

B) The totally not somewhat spoiled Uthuk hero #3

C) Other, please define

I vote B.

I need the new Latari hero, still in limbo on knowing if that new unit is a hero or just cav, so I’d really like to know. If the uthuk hero waits until next week at least everyone can still slobber over the spoiled card, give me the spider queen!

Oh man. That's tomorrow if they keep their pattern! Gotta cast my vote. Err....um....I think the "leak" tipped their hand, and whether they planned to or not, they have to preview Th'Uk Tar and Gorgemaw tomorrow. Then the Latari hero/not hero thing.

I say Th'uk Tar was a random goof unrelated to the preview cycle and we get the mysterious latari centaur creatures as a unit!

I want Th’uk Tar to be previewed just so I can understand that hero. His card is such a wierd mixture of:

-Scout, Precise, Lethal - What I expect from a recon or assassin hero, but it looks like a 20’ worm.

-An inspiration mechanic more appropriate to a Warhammer Commisar. I suppose they could feed bad Berserkers to the demon worm.

- 2 unique slots - What....?

I wouldn’t be disappointed with any of the expected articles, but Elder Centipede *cough* Gorgemaw is my most anticipated

Latari hero, but not the centaur-like unit.

Uthuk hero next week.

I think we get A) today and then Uthuk product up for sale article(s) next week. Then B) the week after that.

Seconded!

I'll go with the calculated Longshot and say C) the news of the Android license makes them forget about anything else

It's 5:30 PM Central time. Looks like we have a winner? ? I'm grateful for the new surge of content, but I really got my hopes up for another announcement today. Guess I'll just go to a friend's house and play Runewars tonight to make myself feel better.

Well... I wish I could say that I thought they didn't have a good reason, but what looks like the loss of a major license is reason to change the plans for the day. I'm sort of worried to see what their reaction will be the day that they've decided that The Mouse wants too much money for Star Wars.

Hmm... this lack of news can only mean that they're planning on announcing dwarf and ork factions on Monday!

I just want the other boated items to start shipping, even if we won't see them for 2 weeks.

I think we get a preview Monday instead, at this point. So we're probably back to Kethra, now, continuing the hero trend.

All the units that are in transit have had their announcements done; Kethra's was last year. I'm expecting the Latari new unit to get its turn either next Monday or next Friday.

Sure, but usually we get an announcement, and then a (sometimes more detailed) preview to build hype prior to the actual release. Most expansions get 3 news articles, with the final one being a brief Thursday "You can buy it!" fluff piece.

My money is on them advancing the overall setting with the obvious announcement of:

"Waiqar wins. All factions now skeletons."

We hit this snare a while ago, I think on the first episode that I joined the podcast. Waiqar will not rest until he gets all the rune shards, so if we just give him all the Stars of Timmorran, reuniting the Orb of the Sky, he should go down to his grave to rest peacefully with all his minions. Theoretically. Anybody wanna try it? ?

Well it's past the end of the week so I guess it was D) Get nothing and like it cause product is coming out this coming Thursday which is awesome!
