Speculating L3-37 is “while you are not shielded, decrease the difficulty of your bank maneuvers” + “while you are docked, your carrier ship has your pilot ability in addition to its own”

And chewie is “at the start of the end phase, you may spend a focus token to repair one face up damage card”

What in the world is that pointy bit at the front? O_o

Assuming theres more nose-ship pilots than L3-37 (which i'd be surprised if there isnt) this could be an interesting ship since essentially it has a modular pilot ability, which is unique to say the least.

Also explains why Lando's ability is so drastically inferior to the rebel version - thats technically "half" of his ability.

And why on earth did they make Han and Lando's abilities conflict? Lando does not want Han gunner...at all...unless theres some way to immediately shed stress im unaware of (or unspoiled to)

Wingman?

Unless im mistaken on the wording (possible), "before you engage" indicating before you attack at your normal init. If Wingman is the same as before, it has already passed since that would be at the start of the phase.

It would have to be a stress shed that triggers literally immediately since the stress from the red focus would be assigned directly before your attack.

Meh, when it comes out on Blu-ray, maybe.

Anyone have a real answer, or is it some spoiler?

Interesting that they decreased the atk. With Beckett, I look forward to some really fun and crazy obstacle shenanigans.

In 1.0 you had Outer Rim Smuggler that have also decreased atk value. It is becouse its not upgraded version of Falcon (at list i think this is why).

EDIT: In the move - if i recall correctly - the L3-37 said to Lando that he should invest more in defensive armament, scanners etc.

It's an extra, more advanced escape pod/shuttle. As described in this article.

It clearly had different guns in Solo than in the OT and ST.

Ah, thanks. I had heard people talking about an escape pod, but didn't realize it would be so prominent. I didn't even know you could access that area from inside the ship. Learn something new every decade!

EDIT Stats are almost the same, but Lando's has 2 red dice, as expected.

It also has 2 less shields

That’s what she said.

Looking at the threat level (is that what we're calling these?) card in the spread, there is "......M PIONEER (CRAFT)" below "....AN SOLO (SHIP)". Seeing that makes me believe there is at least one more nose-ship pilot.

The article says the expansion comes with 8 ship cards.

So, probably L3 on both Falcon and pod. Han in the Falcon. Maybe Chewie for both.

I feel like a generic for the Falcon is safe, but probably not for the pod.

Han, Chewie, Lando, L3-37. for both the Falcon and the pod. My guess. It is, after all, Lando's Falcon. So you know he'll be a pilot. And I'm pretty sure they showed is pilot card in the preview.

:(

It's a really good movie...

Not sure what roll this YT is going to play that the jumpmaster cant? Its just a more expensive 2 dice primary turret ship and we all know how that turned out in 1.0 *cough* Wild Space Fringer *cough*

Lando pilot is nice cause its not once per round, and involves any dice in any phase. So if there is a crew for scum like a C3PO crew, you can reroll that die. A crew card to repair facedown damage on roll of a hit or crit? Use his ability to reroll that die. And abilities/talents that allow rolling before activation, then you can clear the stress you gain with a blue maneuver and use his ability again. May not be a great ability from the get go, but down the line it can turn into one, especially if there is every a crew/gunner that plays off being stressed like Ezra.

How do you know that?
