Deal with It! (400/400)
======================
Kuat Refit (112 + 60)
+ Admiral Motti (24)
+ Wulff Yularen (7)
+ Ordnance Experts (4)
+ Hardened Bulkheads (5)
+ Redundant Shields (8)
+ External Racks (3)
+ Chimaera (4)
+ Entrapment Formation! (5)
Arquitens-class Command Cruiser (59 + 27)
+ Captain Needa (2)
+ Redundant Shields (8)
+ Projection Experts (6)
+ Turbolaser Reroute Circuits (7)
+ Hand of Justice (4)
Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 + 4)
+ Repair Crews (4)
Gozanti-class Cruisers (23 + 2)
+ Comms Net (2)
5 x Firespray-31 (5 x 18)
Most Wanted
Fleet Ambush
Solar Corona

Shove the Kuat down someones throat/middle of fleet. Do this as soon as possible (SPEED) to get back investment on RS. Swap fleet command to shields, spam repair with Wulf. Kitten lends shields (for free) and recharges brace. Gozanties do whatever, Firesprays spray fire....Total repair on ISD per turn. 4 shields, 3 hull/7 shields, 1 hull possible.

PROFIT.

Captain Brunson maybe better than Wulf?

I personally like Brunson better, but Wulff has benefits. Redundant Shields is to be avoided. You’ll really end up regenerating around 3-4 shields a game. RBDs heals 3 damage. ECMs can block that much in one round. EWS prevents that damage from happening in the first place, and possibly much, much more. And they’re all cheaper. The 5 Firesprays are very all or nothing; that’s fine so long as you accept that an Intel-less all bomber wing will just be feeding your opponent 90 points sometimes, and get tied up by squads like Ciena other times. Lastly, Fleet Ambush is not your friend. What if they brought Yavaris and 134 points of squads for a turn 1 Yavaris double tap before you can do anything? Or leave Demolisher lurking, waiting outside your range? Or place their ambushed ships at the very back of the zone at a lower speed, thus regaining fleet cohesion and giving you nothing for going second? Contested Outpost isn’t really great for you vs fleets that outgun you... (dual ISDs, Ackbar, etc.) I’d recommend Jamming Barrier, Planetary Ion Cannon or maaaybe Capture the VIP. Good luck!

ECMs won’t be blocking much, as you have no brace on the arquitens, and two redundant defense tokens with Needa. And I don’t personally like EWS much, because it won’t protect you against the big ships everyone takes nowadays. Especially on the arquitens, where the side and aft are both very vulnerable from a broadside. But I guess the point is to demonstrate that redundant shields is wore than literally any other defensive retrofit, even advanced projectors!! <gasp>

So basically I recommend RBD.

Good tips Jabba!

I have to relent on the ISD Defensive upgrade. Cant go wrong with ECM. You are right. It will save more damage.

It stays on the Kitten though to assist the PE though...obviously.

Jamming Barrier is right down this lists alley though. Good suggestion there too.

Downgrade to Grint, using repair order. Hondo for emergency token on fleet command.

1pt bid now too. not much but bonus.

Not much loss on repairing here. Max shield gain of 6 shield (1hull) per turn OR 3 shield (3hull) per turn. With ECM even better.

Think you should switch out a firespray for a jumpmaster and leading shots on the ISD. Perhaps overkill but will help keep fickle red dice in check as well as let you max out your black die damage.

Think we had a miscommunication. ? I should have clarified I meant the ISD, as the Arquitens is a medic here. Still not sold on it in any fleet, but if there’s a place, this is it.

@Deadshane On second glance: have you considered dropping the firesprays for a standard 6 TIE screen and turning the Arquitens into an Interdictor? It’s tankier, can still take Projection Experts as well as Targeting Scrambler, and even offers objective manipulation. DCaps and HIE could help soften things up for the Kuat. Your bid even gets boosted. ☺️ One example:

Name: A Solid Kuat to the Jaw
Faction: Imperial
Commander: Admiral Motti

Assault: Most Wanted
Defense: Contested Outpost/Jamming Barrier
Navigation: Salvage Run

ISD Kuat Refit (112)
• Admiral Motti (24)
• Taskmaster Grint (5)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Hardend Bulkheads (5)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• External Racks (3)
• Chimaera (4)
• Entrapment Formation! (5)
= 169 Points

Interdictor Suppression Refit (90)
• Captain Brunson (5)
• Projection Experts (6)
• Disposable Capacitors (3)
• Targeting Scrambler (5)
• Grav Shift Reroute (2)
• Heavy Ion Emplacements (9)
• Interdictor (3)
= 123 Points

Gozanti Cruisers (23)
• Repair Crews (4)
= 27 Points

Gozanti Cruisers (23)
• Comms Net (2)
= 25 Points

Squadrons:
• 6 x TIE Fighter Squadron (48)
= 48 Points

Total Points: 392

Oh, that explains it! Then, yep, ECMs is basically a part of the ISD.
