It super duper that you get an alt-art Krennic but no condition card that goes with him. That way you are still required to purchase the TIE Reaper to use Krennic. The intelligence of FFG is very high, most impressive. They learned from their mistake of releasing alt-art C-3PO. Think how many more Tantive paperweights/bookends they could have sold. FFG really needs our money so that when they release the 2e app it can be free from microtransactions.

It's like when I would offer to bring cookies to a 6th grade class. For free. Good cookies, too. Upon letting the 6th graders loose on the free cookies, I would hear "I don't like this kind!" or "where's the cupcakes!" or "eww yuck!" or "only two each!?". For free cookies. Free. Cookies.

Will they add dates to the list of store championship locations, or do I have to call each store I'm interested in?

Nevermind. They answered this at the very end of the article. Have to call. Last year they had dates I believe. Would be nice if they could add them at some point this year.

There were no dates for store champs. You may be thinking of regionals.

I agree that whining about this in particular is wierd, but your analogy is straight up 6th-grade stupid. None of those rewards are free, and to get Krennic you not only have to pay but also get to top 4.

They did at least say what locations had them. But then also missed about half of the local stores around here, so it wasn’t exactly completely accurate.

The alt-art isn't offered so you can just skip the expansion, it's there as a neat prize. C-3PO was a card that people wanted locked in an expensive expansion that few used (same as Palpatine). If you feel that strongly about not buying the Reaper, don't, then wait for someone to buy two and offer to buy their extra condition card.

Unfortunately take that list of locations with a grain of salt. They list the Game Room in Woodbridge NJ which has been closed for more than a year.
