The Warhammer Quest and Forbidden Stars games released shortly before the deal with GW dissolved. I always wanted to see where they were going to go with the games. I'm excited they are able to take a second crack at it (assuming I am correct in my guess work).

FFG answering my prayers!! I always wanted a coop adventure card game such as WHQ:TACG set in the world of Terrinoth.

Insta-buy for me ?

that's wonderful, that's wonderful

Awesome news. The Warhammer one was basically the LOTR LCG without having to buy boosters and build decks, which made it easy to get out and play.

This is actually really great. It gives them a chance to make adjustments to the system and re-release it. Not that there was anything wrong with it in the first place, but who knows, maybe the thought of some new things to add.

This is probably the first time I'm interested in a Terrinoth themed game.

Too bad they dropped the Warhammer IP.

Can't recall clicking so fast on a banner before XD

yay, heard a lot of good things about the Warhammer Quest game. now I can try out the 2nd edition ^_^

I was wondering how long it would them take to reimplement the game with their own IP. Might give this one a try after not picking up the Warhammer one after i learned of the split.

How many times are you gonna do this reskin/retheme nonsense, FFG?

In this instance, I'll forgive it for sure.

WH:ACG was a good game that could have been great with some expansions that will never come because GW pulled the license. Now, FFG has a chance to do it right.

If only FFG hadn't wanted to chase those Rune Wars minis dreams...

It's not all that bad in this instance, and I've posted elsewhere that I think the TI universe could be a neat reuse of the Conquest mechanics. I just want to see something original from FFG.

Yeah, they had 2 character expansions for the first game, but it was a really limited print run because of the split. I'm hoping for something more substantive than that for expansions, but maybe I'll wait to see the game release before I get to far gone down the expansion pipe dream.

12 playable characters to start with? Yes please, take my money.

We can't know for sure, but I suspect the split had more to do with X-Wing outselling 40k.

This is great, I really liked Warhammer Quest and was bummed there were no expansion. Having this in Terrinoth will give lots of opportunity for new stuff.

Was hopping for this or new SW LCG, but ACG will work as well :) Already preordered through my retailer!

This could be even better with lets say 2-3 exp per year, instead of LCG where you are always behind with expansions xD

Pretty sure those were the Star Wars Legion minis dreams that killed the GW license. That and the fact that X-Wing has outsold 40k since release.

Warhammer Card Quest was a good game but the campaign was fairly impossible to win in solo mode with 2 heroes. Let’s hope they tune this aspect a bit better.

Great news!

Curious to see if this game mixes easily with my Warhammer Quest ACG.

Thumbs up for Uthuq Y'llan Skaven!

We're definitely going to try sleeving and mixing the cards (unless, of course, there are drastic rules differences.... which I doubt).

I am just super happy that WHACG is back... might be slightly more polished and in a universe they (FFG) "own", so it will not have to shut down due to some lame IP-conflict...

I, for one, am really excited to see what this little box will bring to the table ?

That could factor, but GW is really awful to work with. Their MSRP is a lot closer to the cost FLGS have to pay to carry it, and they strictly control who can sell their product online and for how much. They've loosened those rains in the last 2 years, but FFG had to pay GW for the game license (like they do with SW & LotR) and were pretty limited in what they could produce for them - no minis for example, which is why Relic (Talisman in space) had busts for character representation.

The Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing Game 3e was a really neat system. I'm glad they were able to use the general mechanics to create SW:EotE & and now Genesys. If only they'd release an Arkham setting in it already!

I'm really glad Warhammer ACG is coming back. And considering they basically had a game ready for them, and how much time it took them to "re-skin" it, I expect hefty improvements.

Bittersweet -- this seems like a must-buy, yet I will probably need to sell my WH version to make room/cash for it. ?
