So I have been able to see images of the 2e juke in the championship box but I cannot make out what the card says. Has anyone been able to figure out the juke wording for 2e?

It's just 1.0 juke but has "While evading" instead of "if you have an evade tokens"

TIE phantoms are gonna have a field day with it

IIRC it’s basically the same as 1.0 Juke, just with updated wording. “If you are evading...” instead of “if you have an evade token...”

It's gonne be great on Phantoms, great on Defenders, great on Brobots. It's one of the more powerful EPTs now, too, given that it works on any shot, not just in bullseye like Crack, Pred, Marksmanship.

I really hope Crack Shot, Bullseye, and Marksmanship are cheap. It would be a nice "if you're really good, you get cheap bonuses" sort of card.

I suppose the new 2.0 rules will clarify that you are evading whenever you have an evade token, but I'm curious why they felt the need to alter the text.

Yes, if not, they will remain largely unplayed.

i mean it’s actually hard to have small ships in that arc, and having an evade is very easy on some ships in comparison.

Maybe part of the reasoning is that the evade action/token is less powerful now?

Reduce word count and to make the templating match “if you are focused”.

Evade is less powerful but also much harder to get for free atop other mods, which makes juke harder to use

TIE phantom is about the only easy access option (unless all decloak possibilities are blocked), unless you can fully execute high speed manuevers on the x7 while also dodging arcs

This is indeed the case, and because keywording is good, for clarity, standardisation, and concision.
