I used to use Phitobucket to host a photo and get a direct link for the FFG forums. They now want to charge for it. I'm trying to find an app or website that works. I thought Imgur would work, but those links aren't accepted by FFG.
I'm looking for an easy app that I can use that will give me a direct link FFG will approve.
I don't just want the forum code to type in before and after.
Suggestions?
Google photos works... but it is tricky to work with and get links... I fumble through it every time.

So, just add the file type to the end? Thanks!
Does it have to be any specific format? Otherwise it will display the url anyway.

Imgur has certain file types it supports . But as far as the FFG Forums, I'm not too sure. The support/help info on this site is hard to track down. Looks like they use Invision forums.
As far as displaying the url, I have found as long as you link to the url of the image itself, and not a gallery or similar, you should be ok.
For instance if you copy/paste https://i.imgur.com/eFrv8Wu.png you then get the following image embedded unless you chose the option to "display as link" (which I just did there)
