Hi I am a self taught GM for Dark Hersey Game in Dublin Ireland and I have a question. what are the values in brackets in the statistics for creatures in "Creatures Anathema" things like the Genestealer have another vaule in brackets beside the tens or skill bonus number. can anyone tell me what that is for?
What are these brackets doing here?
Not actually having Creatures Anathema with me, I'm guessing that those are notations of the creatures Attribute Bonus modified for it's Unnatural Characteristics.
LuciusT is right. That denotes that a creature has an unnatural attribute. In the Genestealer's case, it has Unnatural Agility (x2) so in any situation (except speed) its agility bonus counts double. It also has unnatural speed too, so its agility bonus counts double there too. Also, having an unnatural modifier has other effects, as detailed in the Inquisitor's Handbook (all tests with that stat one step easier per multiplier, one extra degree of success per multiplier, win ties in opposed tests).

Let me take a look, and see what I can see...
Do you mean the Agility of 60 with the (12) above the 6? That's Mr. Eatsyourface's effective Agility bonus; the stat block already adjusts for his Unnatural Agility (x2) trait.
Hope that helps to answer your question.
EDIT: I dislike this forum software at times.
