Sense + Cassian = Broken?

By That One Guy, in X-Wing

So from what I can tell, both cards activate at the same time (system phase) so couldn't you just use Sense to look at the dial, then activate Cassian to "guess" the dial and change your own accordingly?

A powerful ally it is.

Edit: Never mind I was wrong

System Phase is done in ascending Initiative order, so you need to make sure the Sense user is lower or equal initiative to the Cassian carrier.

Also, using Sense at range does still remove force tokens, which means an opportunity cost there.

Maybe on Kanan pilot?

Don't think shuttle Ezra is going to be an issue even with perfect dial meddling, on account of him being in a crappy shuttle

There's no indication so far that the Sabine's Masterpiece title survived the transition to 2.0, so no crew (or illicit) on Ezra TIE/ln.

Still, Ezra TIE with Sense could be used to get the dial to allow a different ship with Cassian crew to react.

Yeah, seems like it can be nasty with Kanan pilot.

We don't see the slots, it may very well be just built-in.

It's another training wheels upgrade. Sure, you can gain perfect information about one ship's positioning, then re-set your dial.

But if you set your dial correctly in the first place, you could use those slots to modify dice, and win against the person who needs the crutch to get the dial right in the first place.

Plus, it's almost certainly an extremely expensive combo.
