Cannon slot just doesn't feel right with things like tractor beam and heavy laser cannon available. Just leave it at 3 att.

Well sorry, but that's not how this game represents Ion Cannons. And Eta-2s have Ion Cannons.

If you don't like it, ask FFG to make a card that lets you swap out the cannons for more regular guns.

Make it bullseye?

It just feels like you're making excuses to not have your pet ship be underpowered, even though by all accounts it would be.

I dunno, I think he has a point. When you see the Firespray firing it comes from two little guns lear the middle, but they come out super fast and that apparently makes a 3red. If the Jedi Starfighters have similar weapons why shouldn't they hit just as hard?

On screen it doesn't have ion cannons.

Giving it cannon slot means tractor beams and heavy lasers which is just nonsense.

I think a configuration card where you could choose between 3 dice and some sort of built-in ions could be a good compromise.

It's still canon that it has them.

I agree with you, in fact I don't think ANY ship should be able to pick and choose what goes in it's cannon and turret slots. But this is how FFG chose to represent cannons in the game. There's no reason this one ship should have to operate under different rules than every other ship.

And what source says they have similar weapons?

It's just swapping out the cannons for more regular guns. If the cannons and regular guns aren't limited to bullseye, then the extra guns wouldn't be either.

The primary arc line is just there so that a ship with a PWT doesn't get the extra attack from the cannon when it's not shooting fowards.

I didn’t say they did, someone else said they did and I say if they did that’s fine.

...

Yeah but gameplay wise it’d be much more interesting.
