Good thoughts. I particularly like your idea of putting Kad Solus and Elusiveness together. Like you said, Kad was overshadowed in 1E, but in 2E, I think he's got a real chance to make a name for himself.
Yeah Scum looks like fun with Fangs.
I have stayed away from Scum and have none of their ships just because they are just crazy OP and make use of broken mechanics.
However with the great balancing that is 2.0, I am free to get into scum and I am currently thinking of having a squad of exclusively star vipers and fangs as it just seems like honest dogfighting.
Also I hope that the tie interceptor is quite a bit cheaper than the fang fighter as the fang is seems to be superior in every way.

Fangs can't double reposition though. They are more like Jousters who love range 1.
Minor quibble. The word is ordnance; not ordinance. Google the meaning of the latter; you'll be surprised at just how different a meaning it has!
Good read. I have been loving those generics. If they come in under 45 points I think they’re a great deal.
I really enjoyed that article too, and am also looking forward to Kad Solus with Elusive.
