To trade YES ... on "The Big X-Wing Trade Thread" ... I think exchange of $ is not allowed here.... Maybe make contacts and deal with outside online forum for $ exchange.

Board Game Geek is the best place for trades in my pinion.

You can find people close to you, or at least in the same country, both for trade and want in trade.

Seeing how long the person has been a member of BGG is nice and reassuring.

Someone recently proposed a trade with me from the middle east but had just joined BGG, I declined because he was too far and too new.

I did trade with someone in the Philippines who was a long standing member and had no problems.

Is there a reason why Facebook isn’t an option? In the Facebook Group for my area we get at least one person posting their collection for sale every couple of weeks.

eBay is probably your best bet, I've been able to purchase four ships there in the last month that have been significantly cheaper than retail. r/miniswap or bartertown.com are also good places to look for players trading/selling.

A few people I know don't like FB.

They also dislike the data collected by them when using FB.

Our group recently switched from FB to Slack for communication between the members.

For me , FB is a necessary evil to stay in touch with friends/family around the world.
