I think Genesys would work great for this. I'd be a combination of Saturday Morning Cartoon and Gritty Realism. It would still have to be set in the 80's though...

D20 Radio's latest "GamerNation Con" had a GI Joe themed adventure. Have not seen any further information about that posted, but I would love to see it - or any other modern paramilitary type theme. Twilight / Merc 2000 anyone????

Did they address the ammo for the weapons? When a magazine runs empty? I’m thinking of a world war 3 twilight 2000 kind of campaign.

My setting addresses Ammo, running out, getting more, etc in the Setting Rules section.
