I truly feel 2.0 is going to be awesome! I would love to start playing it today.

While there is always a degree of overreaction, taking all concerns and complaints and lumping them together with the more extreme viewpoints is quite insulting. Regardless of whether or not it will be overpowered, the Luke gunner card flies in the face of 2.0's alleged design goals and shows a worrying possibility that the design team havn't really learned anything. The fact that Rebel Fenn seems to have escaped largely unchanged is likewise potentially problematic.
Certainly, both of them (or indeed any 'problem' cards) could be priced highly enough that they arn't worth taking, but that misses the point - that the underlying design of these cards is as flawed as 1.0 and I (for one) find my confidence in the abilities of the designers is not very much improved from before the announcement, where I was already downsizing my collection and drifting away from the game.
It's still too early to say either way whether 2.0 will be good or bad, but I find myself leaning back towards the pessimistic side - and certainly I've no intention of buying a single thing until I have more information.

Alright, I'm curious; why doesn't 2.0 look like an enjoyable game?

They took away the ability to Boost and BR. I can't wait to see where everyone else goes and just put my ship where I wanted. I have to learn how to fly again.

Predator actually requires skill now to get someone in the bulls eye zone. No good!

All the uber attack value has gone down and can only modify attacks through a certain number of ways.

It should be both side arcs, single use.
