i think I was thinking that I’d like to have Toryn doing nothing but Navs, so that she’s always in a prime spot. Same with the Comms Net being able to throw tokens without interruption.

ive got other variants that are like the AS Patrol a few posts down with just 4 Activation’s and 8 squads. This was an attempt to get a fifth activation, without sacrificing key squadron abilities.

i haven’t played much lately, so I’ve got list ideas backing up.

If this lead truly aims to be flexible, it would probably be wise to drop the command pelta altogether, and replace it with a much more versatile CR90. AFFM! is not really needed in my opinion, most of your squads have speed three, which is good enough for bombers, and Jan and friends can tag along at speed two just fine. Its not like that that ISD that really really wants to trigger QBTs is going to outrun them. And the CR90 allows you many other benefits, such as being a safer flagship than the MC30, allowing for more upgrades to be put on the MC30, and just in general the fact that the CR90 is an absolute killer.

I you really want to make room for comms net, drop Phoenix home, because you're only bringing one officer. Then you can get comms net, and one bonus point which can go towards a skilled first officer on the MC30, or just a one point bid.
