FAQ V.1.3 - New Questons

By Duciris, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Reading the new FAQ causes me to ask new Qs.

Does the ability on Ursula Down (TFA 2) allow me to take an investigate action on an asset or event card?

Yes. Ursula’s reaction allows you to take any investigate action, including

Can that be an action that has an additional action cost, for example, Searching for Izzie? The premise for this weakness is its arduous nature. Ursula, however, could sweep in and report, "She's not behind the curtains," and resume her turn as normal.

Another misprint is that the date is May 2017 instead of 2018.

That's funny. I edited the post, believing that everything had been resolved.

I just made another thread then since yours has changed.

A further question, suppose I have The Chthonian Stone in my play area when I use Olive McBride reaction. Am I correct in assuming that if the Auto-Fail token is revealed and choose to "ignore" that one, then it as treated as though I did not draw the Auto-Fail and therefore do not have to return The Chthonian Stone to my hand?

Yes, it's been clarified that anything that tells you to ignore a token it's like you never drew it at all.

The FAQ clarifies that Ursula's ability effectively gives her an extra action that she immediately spends to investigate, so presumably Searching for Izzie is a net loss of one action.
