Pretty good ability on 2.0 Saw. You lose the stress proc, but he goes out to range 3. He will be a pretty good support piece that can dish out some punishment as well.

We'll have to see if the rulebook for 2E makes "damaged" = once you take hull or any damage taken including shields. Especially looking at 1E saying that it needs a damage card.

Store Champs in the UK have been running since early May, so I think there's a lot of folks eager to know what's in them. ?

A couple of them have already been played in UK. Mr. Hills won one with his Brobot list. They didn’t get any kit prizes yet...

FFG's commitment to Organized Play is pathetic.

Despite playing at the last Regional of the season in the Spring, the store I was at didn't have the kits in yet, and I believe some folks may still be waiting on some of the prizes. I know it took five months to get some of the prizes from Gencon that FFGOP didn't have on hand at the time.

I suspect and hope that the delay in Store Champ Kits is so they can contain 2.0 loot. But the delay is messing with us here in the Bay Area, where we have many stores. One was scheduled for tomorrow, but the store canceled, due to being uncomfortable holding the tourney with no kit.

Yeah, did the author of this article never take a writing class? Or get a proofreader/editor? The Author uses the word "fun" 8 times in the first section, this would have been a D or worse in the last High School Writing class I took. Actually, I think the word fun was banned for being weak, and carrying no emotion. And an article lives and dies by it's first line.

Those focus coins don't really appeal to me. If they had 2x or 3x sized acrylic focus, then I'd be salivating for them.

The current kit is metal shields, so I assume so.

Metal shields amuse me, because shields are supposed to stop them from hitting the metal.
