What is the next ability you want to see on a ship?

The ability to weaponize hyperspace...

But seriously, just spitballing here, but I would be interested in an upgrade that is a higher cost discard that calls in one-time fire support, like from either a “ground” ion cannon or an attack from another ship’s hull (in addition to that ship’s attack). Make it for an offensive retrofit or a fleet support slot. As always with design posts, not my forte.

I would like the ability of the Wave 8 ships to actually get on a ship...

Of course the power of the Force would be given to the Empire to balance the game.

I'd like some kind of response fire upgrade, so if a ship is attacked you may exaust/discard the card to perform an attack against that ship. Or something like a reactive squadron command, so if your opponent reveals a squadron dial you may perform a move with squadrons at close-medium of you up to your squadron value, or something.

We have cloaking. Tie Phantom. Just hardly ever gets used.

Droid control ship. As long as it’s alive it gives bonuses to all droid squadrons, but if it’s destroyed they all deactivate.

Honestly, I'd love to see cumulative boarding party system. Instead of just disrupting, I'd like to be able to take control. It's not like it's unheard of. Maybe objectives focused around the idea of seizing a ship.

Also maybe a method of disabling a ship? We can knock out tokens and change dials, maybe even remove or tap upgrades, but either upgrades or objectives that let you disable and capture enemy ships are what I want.

I want the ability for ship anti-squadron attacks to count critical damage as regular hits. Even just switching one die with a crit automatically to a hit symbol when attacking squads.

That sounds like a good reason to put it on a ship where it could get a new upgrade that does unique things with cloaking.

Additional upgrade slot modifications like Tua.
