Technically these packs will be the first 2.0 packs on the market. (Like sometime in June!)

I would really like to see how the abilities of the 1.0 cards Translates to the 2.0 cards and vice versa. I am surprised FFG has not done a preview article on Wave 14/ Wave 0 aimed at 2.0.

It is an "easy" article with a wave that is about to be released.

I'd be happy with an announced release date.

There are still three (technically four, Edrio has not been officially confirmed to have the same ability in 1.0) unspoiled 1.0 cards in Saw's, I am betting we will see those before we get any 2.0 spoilers.

EDIT: looking at their product pages, it looks like it will be 1.0 packaging. Saw’s Renegades and the Reaper aren’t even listed on the Second Edition product page.

I'd expect Saw's Renegades are a short run product and will not reappear as a stand alone 2.0 product.

TIE Reaper might take a while before it appears in 2.0 product boxing... or it might be right there for wave 2.2. (2nd edition/2nd wave)

I don’t know, I’m trying to think of what would make the most business sense for FFG, and having Second Edition packaging released so soon after the first edition packaging doesn’t make much sense, especially when people will be clamboring for 2.0 versions of other ships first.

I don’t see them re-releasing Saw’s or the Reaper under 2.0 until all the other 1.0 ships have been re-released, and maybe not even then. They’ll probably just keep it in its 1.0 packaging or maybe, as you say, they’ll be limited print run items.

I think it boils down to timing on internal approval. They may have wanted Wave 1.14 released earlier, or expected 2.0 to come later...

I keep forgetting that supposedly Saw's package is supposed to come with pilots not in the conversion kit or starter... they'll have to release a 2.0 package at some point? Do something else? Never say never with FFG... they keep surprising us somehow.

Well that’s the thing- Saw’s and the Reaper are both already full 2.0 expansions. They are also full 1.0 expansions. They’re a two in one package.

I’m just curious whether or not they’ll rerelease them as 2.0 only packs. Or if they’ll just leave them as dual packs, with updated packaging or 1.0 packaging.

Surely they will become 2.0 only packs when they are reprinted.
