Set Yorr in corner like that first with CD, put the other two like that, 1 Adv Sensor Hux (Stress to Yorr), and both stops (stress to Yorr), Yorr then 1 banks clears all three and bumps and then System Officers to 1.

If opponent goes along bottom board edge Ups2 can 3 hard. If they go along right board edge Ups1 can 1 hard.

I've played a variant with 4 lambdas. Highest jousting efficiency in the game, but ultimately flawed. Alpha strike lists can easily win the damage race if they position competently. If you think about the fortress a bit, you'll realise that the edge of the board is a blind spot in which a squad only takes one shot, but unleashes everything in return. Kiting turrets are just as bad.

After you break the fort, an opponent can k-turn behind you and it's all over, or just play it out and make you break formation, sacrifice a ship and win in the mid game.

Finally, U-wings are the new efficiency beast. AGI2 and a turn around maneuver make then superior in just about every way. They're also cheap enough that you can field 3 and an ace like VI+BB-8 Wedge, which is amazing with the upcoming fixes.

I LOVE the paperwork. But it is true, being locked in a fortress like that does make is easy for your opponent to take fewer shots than they deal out.

Out of curiosity... Would you really fly something like that? Or is this just some theory crafting here?

I know you're not asking me, but I'd fly it...my current list, while not a permanent fortress, starts out with castling.

I’ve had it in my phone for quite awhile, but every time there’s a tournament I want to play X-Wing too much to take. Would like to run it right before 2.0 comes out and bring pizza for myself and my opponent lol
