I decided to create, like many others I have seen, an Endor team. I just was not feeling the default color-scheme on the box and have a personal preference towards the lush forests of Endor. That being said, I wanted to have troopers that were a little more dirty looking. Streaks of caked mud and bases that highlight an invasion team that is not on Endor to mess around. I plan to have a rebel squad done next. The large photo can be found here: Endor Subjugation Team .
Endor Subjugation - 1.4FD Laser Cannon Update
nice work....
Thanks! Critiques and comments most definitely welcome as well.
Nice work all around on your miniatures. I like how you went another direction painting Luke.
Sorastro is an inspiration to so many painters.
I like clean shiny armor for my stormtroopers. Honestly the Kenner/Hasbro line has always been my source for painting miniatures all the way back to when I was painting West End Games stuff. When choosing or mixing colors now, I always base them on the Black Series collection figures. They are pretty much movie accurate and can be articulated to a similar pose.
Hey that looks great! Out of curiosity, what material did you use for the wood on the bases? Is it actual wood or something else? If it is actual wood, did you add it untreated or was it washed/treated before and/or stained/finished after?
Cheers.
Thanks. Those are real trees actually. I bought one of those wood-wreath's from Joann's actually and just used that. I did not stain/finish it at all, just used it as-is.
We finally have some rebel heavy support ready to fire! I went with a green stripe to go with a forest theme. I am thinking I will add quite a bit of rust to show that it has been in the rain for a while, a very wet planet. Any thoughts on how to improve it are greatly appreciated!
There are several 'rust' colored inks you can use. Recommend you first look how rust forms (not like an overall ink wash). Search for examples on the internet, find one you like and try it out on another model first if possible. There are some rust examples on this forum too.
We finally have the snow-troopers, with the alternative theme. I'll get around to the rebels one day...
I finally finished the Rebel troopers. I also realized I keep getting less and less space to upload, so switched to using Imgur. The other squads will each have different undershirt colors to differentiate them, this one is blue.
The Fleet Troopers should be up this week or the next. Any critiques/comments always welcome!
The Fleet Troopers are finally here! The second squad is getting the finishing touches, likely to be done this weekend, but here is red squad. I think this is the best round of painting so far, but maybe not. As always, critiques and comments welcome!
I really like those fleet troopers. They look nice and bright, but cleanly painted with good shading and highlights. I wish mine were that good.
Very nice! I like the color scheme you chose.
Edited by SharkbellyHey everybody! I have finally finished and taken photos of the Green Leader Fleet Troopers! I took more time on them and played more with making the effects subtle yet also stand out. Critiques and comments welcome!
The e-web is ready for action!

Red-leader troopers coming in.
Han Solo has finally hit the field!
The long waited bounty hunter is here to take out his enemies with ease. No barriers can stop Boba Fett!
The last of the rebel core troops joins the ranks today: Gold Leader.
And of course, the original heroes with all of their troops:
Great work and great use of the real branches and sticks.
The 1.4FD is hidden the forests ready to take on the empire by surprise.
