The Biggest Question for 2.0 [Clickbait]

Where is my Dak gunner upgrade?

Dak Ralter, when will you get your recognition? You were able to fix that malfunction in fire control and would have launched that cable if Luke didn’t fly into that crossfire and get you killed.

Its ok, Luke kissed his sister earlier that day (with tongue), then gets Dak killed. Then crashes his snowspeeder. Then abandoneds Dak’s body to be crushed underfoot by an AT-AT. Then he crashes his X-wing on a swamp planet that no one knows he went to. All in the same day. The rest of the week isn’t any better.

but yeah, give Dak some love FFG!

I'm surprized we haven't really seen Dak do anything in the recent EU.

I think his cheery attitude at least warrants an upgrade! But I guess I'm just kind of stumped on what he'd actually do... maybe someone who read Lost Stars would remember something interesting about him?

Looks like a pilot card would also not be unwarranted, but again, I don't really know what he'd do.

Literally I'm watching empire as we speak, and was just thinking how Dak should be a gunner upgrade come 2.0

Luke was stressed; Dak didn't get his action to flip the Fire Control Malfunction face down.

This just proves that FFG is missing the opportunity to release the "Lost Ships of the Original Trilogy" expansion. We'll get three small based ships as a tri-faction release

T-47 with Luke, Wedge, Zev, and Rogeu Squadron pilot, and gunner cards for Dak, Wes, and Hobbie (Rebel).

Bespin Cloud Car with Lando, Lobot, Bespin Security Forces, and Bespin Smuggler pilots and Lobot and L3-37 crew (Scum).

T-16 with Biggs, Kitster, and Imperial Cadet and Tatooine Bush Pilot pilots (Imperial/Scum).

What kind of game would it be if Luke can’t bullseye womprats in a T-16 with his buddy Biggs, just like Beggars Canyon back home. We’re shooting stars, buddy, and we’ll Never be stopped. *sniffle* never *sniffle*

I was going to post something snarky but this literally made me laugh out loud. Bravo, my good sir!

Was about to post this, then decided to click your link. So ninja'd.

Okay, I like to try to design cards as close to what I interpret their lore to be as possible, but wow, this is a tough one.

Dak Ralter

Crew, -5 Points. Rebel Only.

You MUST equip a Harpoon Missile upgrade paying squad point cost as normal.

When you would perform an Attack with a Harpoon Missile, instead assign this ship a weapons disabled token and discard this card and all equipped Harpoon Missile upgrades. Then you may assign a focus token to a friendly ship at range 1-2.

And then they gave him I5.

Bumping this marvel, before it is swallowed by the abyss

Maybe it would have helped if he'd ever been seen in something higher than five feet off the ground? I mean, anyone who gets on a stepladder is closer to space than Dak ever got in the movies.
