Refusing to participate in the pilot skill race....

Does anyone else prefer to just ignore pilot skill shenanigans/excessive upgrades and cram is as much generic stuff as possible? If so post your builds here! Any faction.... just no ps above 7.... :)

Anyway to kick things off here’s my first order minima-list which I’ve enjoyed recently.....

Starkiller Base Pilot (30) - Upsilon-class Shuttle

Collision Detector (0), Special Ops Training (0), Lightweight Frame (2)

Solid FO theme, zeta specialist gets work done as is often ignored in favour of the big bullseye on the Upsillon....

Looks great too and sprays a lot of arcs about the board.

Unfortunately I see a lot of Palp Aces at my FLGS, so I try to play the ps/initiative game more than I’d like. However, I’ve been meaning to give this list a go:

Having a hard time choosing between EU on the Falcon or VT on the wookies. If I lead the charge with the Falcon I can set up some blocks for a Wookie attack.

Backdraft: debris gambit, fcs, adv optics, lwf

Echo: ptl, adv sensors, recon spec, lwf

Pure Sabacc: lwf

Lotsa red dice. Sabacc i view as an imperial biggs. Both backdrafy and echo are going into the initial engagement with a stack of focus and evade tokens

Yep, I love low-PS imperials.

Not tempted to shave some points by going for the bomblet generator? Though you do get the stress/ion control with your load out....

Like the way the thread tracers combo nicely with the synced turrets :) May have to try that myself... ??

Indeed. Theoretically you could pack a quartet of aggressors with synced turrets, lightweight frame, and a double-load of tracers each.

It also combos well with deadeye, but that's only a possibility for the 'ace' aggressor pilots.

Written purely to start getting used to bullseye and mobile arcs.... actually does alright and looks nice and intimidating on the tabletop. Again, good fun to use and I’m a sucker for 4+ ships in a list :)
