FA Lead Investigator after Scenario 2

Hey all,

Mild spoilers....

If you have Leo or Ursula in your playgroup they are specifically assigned to be lead investigator for the first two scenarios, which is odd because typically lead investigator stays the same throughout a campaign unless he/she dies/is insane.

If my playgroup decided to do a standalone like Curse of the Rougarou after scenario 2 of the Forbidden Age, do we select a new lead investigator? I doubt there's an official answer to this, but I am curious because lead investigator often affects what weaknesses and other cards you gain from a scenario and I'm wondering if we get to reassign it.

We are considering Rougarou to get Calvin access to Mounstrous Transformation and I'm not 100% if he has to be lead investigator to earn that card as we have never completed Rougarou successfully.

Thoughts? If there is NOT an answer, what would you house-rule and why?

We always choose a lead investigator at the start of each scenerio. This is supported in the rules rulebook under lead investigator (start of scenario, not campaign) and the forgotten age book (starts scenario 1 and 2 as lead investigator as opposed to the whole campaign).
