There 100 percent should be a second Solo film that significantly involves Fett.

I personally want films that follow new characters, or mostly new characters that aren't tied to the Skywalker saga. Its one of the things that I liked about Rogue One, even if most of the cast of characters was meh for me aside from K2, Chirruit, and Baze.

One of the worst thing about the ole EU was how they insisted on giving a complex back story to EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER that appeared on screen in the original movies.

Agreed. I think one of the reasons I liked R1 was because, while it was tied to the main storyline of Empire Vs Rebels, the characters were "one and done". In a universe of thousands of planets and billions upon billions of people, not everyone is Luke/Han/Skywalker. There are people who will live and die and no one will ever know their name.
