Did you try asking your FLGS? They probably have more info than anyone else.

Store champs have yet to be announced for any game.

Yeah, I asked them on Tuesday. No kits have been available for purchase yet, I am just itching for some type of news.
Both of the stores I go to said they have already ordered their store champ kits from their distributor. They are just waiting to have them in hand to announce their date. They said the window is from June till early August.
My flgs said the kit is ordered but they have no idea when to expect it.
FFG already announced all the Star Wars Store Champ dates for their location on FB yesterday. They said the others would be coming shortly.

my FLGS also ordered the store champ kit back when they ordered the 1st quarter kit.
I saw someone mention on facebook that FFG was having some sort of production problem. as a result, q2 kits wouldn't be around till 3rd quarter and store champ kits were also delayed. wonder if this is why no announcement has been made. can anyone else confirm this?

That's too bad, if everyone else is saying their store ordered their kit, sounds like your store may have missed the window to order.
You think by now they could at least have listed the stores that are having championships. Reveal the prizes later if distribution is an issue.

It's up to stores to order kits from the distributors, I don't the ffg actually knows all the stores that will have one.

It's kind of ridiculous that we're getting all this info on European Nats and System Opens but have heard nothing about Store Championships which affect way more players. It really feels like the entire FFG Star Wars division is operating on a skeleton crew of 5 people. It's like they can only do 1 thing competently at a time. Can't wait for FFG to be free of Asmodee's shackles again, maybe they will be able to hire the people they need to actually have an effective communications team.

That hasn't stopped FFG in the past from publishing a list of all the dates and locations of Store Champs well ahead of time.

That is true, but if stores can't order kits then they don't know who and when.
Kits were ordered a while back, I believe around when the Q1 kits were ordered.
I really don't want to have to travel, I have a lot going between now and August and my Local SC is going to be last/only tourney I can hit before 2nd edition. Help me FFG, you're my only hope

The kits ship out next week (from a reliable source at FFG). I’m hoping for a news article fairly soon.

I know that FFGs own store champ is June 30th, so at least that’s a guarantee that they are actually happening.

FFG usually doesn't post Store championship dates. you have to check with the stores/ organizers to find out the date. They do post a list of locations. it's usually based on who ordered kits.

And even then, I know in my area we had nearly double the stores that were posted that actually had store champs, so make sure to ask your FLGSs (maybe wait a couple weeks so they can figure things out).
and I heard of a couple of locations last year that had more than one event as well.
