I believe the old factions (scum, imperial, rebel) will receive their content mostly as ace packs, and 2.0 blisters of older ships, and the occasional new ship (from Solo for example).

The factions are large enough as it is, and with every ship being playable, I believe they cover most grounds.

Additionally, some new designspace was opened for rebels and imps with the disappearance of the resistance and FO, so we might see the TIE Avenger eventually, which previously there was little hope for.

But I believe the new waves will be mostly to buff up the Resistance and First Order, as was the case after Wave 6, scum often getting 2 ships a wave.

The app for 2e is a great thing & the positives far outweigh the negatives. Now that point costs can be adjusted, (I would guess on a quarterly basis) there are going to be ENDLESS forum threads debating the cost of ALL THE PILOTS AND ALL THE UPGRADES. I expect half the forum will want Vader to be +3 points & the other half will want him to be -3 points for example. There will be no consensus EVER! It's going to be such a trainwreck. The Luke gunner thread is just the tip of the iceberg.

Sure, I'll promise to not make a nerf thread every game I lose. That is a low bar. What happens after Dash + Defenders take over the meta, well, that is not covered by the promise.

There's no limitation on asking for X-Wing improvements since the name of the ship is on the box. We shall not rest until the only ship flown by the Rebel faction is the X-Wing (with the occasional A-, B-, or Y-wing, or maybe a HWK, thrown in for flavor).

So really there won't be nerf threads anymore. There will be endless requests for point adjustments.
