New Character!!! The Centaur

The Centaur

Strength 5

Craft 2

Life 4

Fate 3

The Centaur may roll an additonal die,,,after seeing the first die roll, when rolling for movement and add it to the total when moving. He must accept the result the, and add the two dice rolls together. He may use one fate to reroll his choice of one of the die.

The Centaur may hold 8 objects

The Centaur may evade creatures in The Fields and The Plains

I would proabaly not make him a strenght 5 like the ogre chieftain.

Maybe strength 4 and then give him/her one more fate to make the movement ability more flexible.

What alignment... neutral ?

I'd also add a rule about how the Centaur may not use horses. =P

definitely neutral alignment!! and i think you have to make him strength 5!!! Centaurs are very powerful,,and formidable opponents!!!

2nd edition Centaur had 3/3 stats.

interesting!! what was the centaur's abilities in 3rd edition??

Personally, I hope the Bow stuff doesn't come to R4th (I know Velhart likes them). They were just annoying and added unnecessary delays to the game. At least not the Bow stuff as they were (shoot against something up to 3 spaces away), I don't mind if they get added to the Weapon mix. That's a nice little bow, from the Temple across 2 Deserts...

I would like a Bow that adds Strength in battle according to the Character's current Craft. Something like. 1-3 pts= +0, 4-5 pts= +1, 6-7 pts=+2, 8+ pts = +3.

It would be a nice tweak if the Elf could start the game with a Bow like this.

If there are bows in the game, then we can do something with the gold..

Bows are giving a + 2 in battle, ( after that, then they are discarded, unless someone has a quiver of arrows too.

Bows are 2G at the city and the quiver is 1 gold gran_risa.gif
