Those are 3 points command officer and I already love them. With 6 points command officer I meant, you know, those costed at 6 points (engineering captain, tactical advisor, navigation whatever and wing commander).

I could imagine wing commander beating SFO against Charm Syndulla but nothing else.

Engineering Teams does some really wonky things to engineering values for certain ships, especially the MC80H and the Interdictor.

I think these have situational uses (and I've tested my theory a couple times). When you're running very squad light and have a ship like an Arquitens/MC30/CR90 it can make attacking them very unpleasant for bombers. Maarek's going to eat probably 3 (on average) damage and be in easy kill range for Ciena/Valen that were lurking behind your ship (or to flak).

I kind of liked these pre-wave 7 on an ISD that had Kallus. Flak (with an extra dice) + a blue/black counter roll (LS for rerolls) can quickly do a lot of work. I like it less now that there's more competition for that officer slot, but in theory it can still do good work. I've still thought about them in a dual ISD squadless list where the squads HAVE to come after you. Add EWS to force enemy squads to eat dual ISD flak (or ISD/gozanti flak).
