When I'm not X-Winging, I'm often assembling polystyrene models of just about anything. When I'm done, I set up a photo shoot because what the heck else am I going to do with a fragile, assembled model kit.

So, today I take my latest kit out into the wilds of The Loop, and looking for some green space in the concrete jungle, I find a weedy lot. While I'm setting up, a woman in her 20's walks by, sees what I'm doing, and says: "That makes me so happy."

What a glorious time to be a geek!

Those old school Star Wars Miniatures look nice with it, still have boxes and boxes of those myself.

This also makes me happy. I have lego kits that I've built that I'd like to do something similar.
