Quick question: Does a ship keep a discarded veterancy token on the campaign level? As I understand it, you can basically spend the **** thing twice per battle. Correct?

I am in doubt about this as well, but I think I read somewhere that once you spend it twice, the token is gone for good
Yep. You keep the veteran token. It’s a twice per match effect once you achieve veteran status.
"Before the start of a battle the veteran token is placed on the according ship or unique squadron's card with its readied side up. When a readied veteran token is spent, it is flipped to its Veteran Token exhausted side."
"When an exhausted veteran token is spent, it is discarded for the rest of that battle. A veteran token cannot be spent more than once during a ship or squadron's activation. Players do not ready exhausted veteran tokens during the Status Phase."
Now idk what happens after you spend it twice, if on the next battle you get the token back just because your ship is veteran or if you needed to destroy another ship before to earn the token back

It comes back. It's things like Spynet tokens that need regenerating between rounds.

Agreed with GP, you keep the token.
If you read those two rules carefully, they do actually answer the question.
QuoteBefore the start of a battle the veteran token is placed on the according ship
After spending it twice, it's gone for the rest of that battle . Note that it doesn't say the ship in question stops being a veteran as a result of this. It's still a veteran, just doesn't get any advantages for it.
So it's still a veteran next battle, when
QuoteBefore the start of a battle the veteran token is placed on the according ship
happens again.
Thanks guys!
