Ranger Bows, My Precious (fun deck)

By JYoder, in Strategy and deck-building

I just published a deck (two actually, as one supports the other) and thought I'd share as they may be the most fun decks I've played...

It can't stand on it's own, and needs another deck to partner with, but once it gets rolling, I have a blast with them. Thoughts welcome.

Why not publish a fellowship with both decks?

I think you could substitute Argalad for Damrod and do well. Damrod's discount isn't really needed with double lore and six cheap traps, and once Argalad gets his attack buffed he can consistently damage in the staging area.

I could have done a fellowship, but my thought was you could come up with other decks to compliment the main Ranger Bow deck.

I really wanted 1 trap down each turn and pay for cheap rangers and bows ASAP, so I think Damrod works better, especially for his draw power. I also wouldn't want to bother buffing Argalad, and prefer questing with Damrod rather than hope for an enemy for Argalad. Still, he could work and in some scenarios might even be better, so he's certainly viable.
