Yep. Flew several variations of it over the years. Still had the range problem.

Considering Jan Ors doesn't say the ally has to be Range 1-3... that could be amazing. Just kite the table and keep your turret pointed toward the center.

Id be really surprised if they rule that in arc allows things to be out of range.

For 2E, it's possible, but I think unlikely. I think there is a better argument for Dash being in Scum than Kyle. The Moldy Crow being Scum as well as Rebel is because of Palob, who owned the Crow before Kyle.

and squad leader. could be a lot of points to pull off that combo... but it will be mean if you can.

Hopefully. Considering it gives a major boon to the pilots who need to have people in arc for their abilities, it would certainly be a major plus to include it in the Scum Converter.

The card says "gain" which would imply that the turret doesn't go away. Otherwise I would think that the card would have said "Replace your 2 dmg turret with a 3 dmg front arc"

Yes. That's basically what it was. It no longer is optional to take Dash's ability. He is Rebel.
