Sorry FFG, you dropped the ball...

With the release of information on X-Wing 2nd Edition and the way points are being handled through the app, FFG really dropped the ball not implementing it in Legion.

As of right now, the airspeeder is way overcosted, and the same can be said for some of these exhaustable heavy weapons.

It boggles my mind that they didn't do this as X-Wing 2.0 has been in the works for years. I love you FFG and own a lot of your games, but you done ****** up.

How's about you fly it right and not use it like a chicken walker. Stop complaining. It's been out for a about 2 months. Either stay the course or leave. Your decision. The game will still thrive without you.

Ok thanks, tough guy behind a computer screen, I'll take that into consideration.

We shouldn't have to coddle you with your complaints about 1 mini that you can't run right. Either A. Learn it B. Don't run it C. Play as Imperials or D. Stop playing. There's nothing wrong with the game. Asking for a revamp of it is the dumbest thing I've heard since Schumacher put nips on Batman. The game is still young. It's 2 months already and you have learned that some minis are harder to play than others. Points are not a problem with the the T-47. If points were a problem, then the AT-ST should not be 195 base. You're making a dumb argument and calling for something that won't happen. Either learn and ask for help, or don't play.

Ok dude, calm down. Take your meds or something. Go for a walk, your getting really excited.

And if you actually read my post instead of banging the keyboard with your fingers like an insane person, it's more related to them releasing an app where they can adjust points when needed. I fly it well, it's fun, it kills but its a bit high on points.

I could see them going this route in a year or two once x wing settles down and assuming its implementation there is successful.

The cost of the T-47 being good, bad or indifferent is completely irrelevant to the idea that with the App you can make corrections without you look at the cards and an Errata, perhaps here the idea that a unit is over costed isn't a big deal, but when FFG gets it wrong and under costs it the change cycle costs them players. Heck, Disney aren't concerned with the cost of things, so you could even get fields that can change without requesting permission. Disney will want't control over the images and names, so you can't change the name of a unit or its images without permission, perhaps via digital collaboration the approval process can be sped up in any case.

While the main use for the App would be in army building the real advantages are the host of value adds that can be built in.

What if you could search your local wifi for other instances of the App and link or pair two? So you can see your opponents list and he yours. From there you could add in the ability to track the game, deal damage, tap cards and status tokens. Add in the ability to share a camera view, and LOS can be seen on both apps at the same time. Perhaps stores or events could create an event tracker that allowed players to enter their ID and then link in the pairings, and results for a tournament.

You could even throw in some AR of the battlefield and the terrain to track what was agreed upon at the start of the game. Just for those that forget.

Perhaps as cards are spoiled they could become part of the app, no more fuzzy wiki photos!

Rules, searchable, indexed and online.

FAQ, no more emails from the Designer. Put the question and the answer in the App. Throw in video commentary, animated examples or links to sites that help teach people play.
