Edited by BoardGameNoobShort answer: No, you can't use Rey's re-roll ability twice, on a single die.
Long answer: There are multiple reasons why your scenario wouldn't work... one of which being, Rey's re-rolls only happen if the defender is in your firing arc, so you'd be getting your Finn die anyway. But more importantly, X-Wing handles the concepts of Rolling and Re-Rolling in very explicit ways; one is not equivalent to the other. Most relevant to this discussion is one standard ruling, when it comes to re-rolling dice, no matter the source (Predator, Target Lock, Han Solo pilot, M9-G8, etc)... you may only re-roll any given die once, during any given attack or defense. That's why Han Solo is worded as he is: you must reroll as many of your dice as possible. Say you already used Predator to reroll a blank result, and it stayed blank... you CAN use Han's ability, but you can't reroll the one die AGAIN, that already whiffed twice.

You might want to reread the pilot card. Rey and Finn are both arc-restricted; it's why they're usually paired together.

Other than that, see @emeraldbeacon - you can't reroll a reroll.

Thanks. I mis-read Rey’s pilot card, but either way I understand now that dice can’t be rerolled more than once.
