So I'm wondering... can Chomper Chopper eat cards like Experimental Interface and interrupt their completion? I could focus, then use EI to activate Chopper's ability, and eat the EI for a shield. Does this mean he prevents the card from delivering stress, because it no longer exists?

p.s. - Yes, this is basically a sithpost, I know that's not how the cards work; I just want to see all of your reactions...

If I were TO, I'd rule that Chopper can eat the Experimental Interface, but would still receive the stress. Missiles and Torpedos are discarded at the beginning of an attack, but the text of the missile is still valid until the attack fully resolves. EI's full effect, even if discarded in the free action, would still resolve.
