I vote Wookiee’s. I am a little bias though.
What does armada need?
News on the next Wave. But I’m a little bias too.
I would like to see some more medium sized brawlers that don't try to bring other tricks to the game. vic's try to be fighter platforms while doing so, interdictors try to use magic in the game to impact it, and there isn't really one on the rebel side. I'd kill for a decent 70 point ship whose goal is to go speed 2/3, get in the fight and just trade blows back and forth.

Me
A triangle. A massive, pointed wedge of gray death, eclipsing corvettes and annihilating MC30s. Although Mel’s does an excellent job with their version, there’s been widespread demand for an official model of the most iconic, awe-inspiring Imperial pizza slice of all...

1) More interactive & randomized objective play. Never played Legion but from what I have seen only the idea seems to go into a good direction and helps to randomize settings a bit more.
2) Less emphasis on activation and deployment advantages. I don't know how to accomplish that but those two things really hurt the game when you explain it to potential new players.
3) Only allow Squadrons without defense tokens. Or Maximum one squadron with tokens per fleet to put more focus on ships. It is a Ships game with squadrons not the other way around.
More reasons to take Medium ships. I feel like there's something wrong with all of them. You take large ships for any reason, small ships can be disposed of for any reason, but mediums lose out to larges for trying to stay in the fight but being too expensive to be disposable. I wish the VSD-ISD decision was a matter of personal choice instead of ISDs doing everything better. Assault frigates need a better reason to exist instead of being Ackbar fodder.
An X-Wing style narration campaign with fixed scenarios would be interesting, and a neat way to deliver cards for older ships.
Space Stations would also be interesting choices as well, though not really supported in the current objective-play format.

I think the real reason objectives feel "samey" in the game is that there are a relatively few "really good" ones, that EVERYONE brings ALL the time...and then a bunch of others.
Re-writing the weaker objectives to make them more competitive, so that people start bringing them more often, would do just fine to change up the feel of the game.
I dont think we really need anything. now a sweet wish list (like those randomized objectives or seasons for objectives), we have a huge one.

I know a certain local tournament which may have a wookie boarding troopers card as a prize
I'd like to see a carefully thought out re-envisioning of the squadron activation sequence, personally. I think it would do a lot of good.
Barring that I'd like to see upgrades to ships that make anti-squadron armaments more effective, such as by counting critical hit symbols as damage.
Well is seems like it definately DOESN'T need the Arrestor Cruiser from Solo. Apparently its been dropped from the Movie. TFFT.

The Imperial snow transport from The Force Awakens was also dropped from the film, but still served as an acceptable toy.
I'm fine with it as long as it does something cool and unique.
Another campaign that allows for some new ways to play.
Also, lots of porgs. Maybe they can ride on the wookies. No, no... They ride on Ewoks who ride on the wookies.
Venator Star Destroyers with Arc-170s and V-Wing Interceptors campaigns based in the early days of the Empire.
new objectives and a rebalance wave.
A single-player app on the iPad that has Rebel & Imperial campaigns as well as the option to set up custom battles against an AI!
I thought Armada was dead? If not, it needs Lando flying the Falcon!

Derail time - how about altering the VPs that each objective gives? OR re-balancing what the objective gives the players so the harder to achieve ones give more for completing .. OR even for the common /easy ones the player starts off with a negative VP count
.... hrrmmm decisions decisions
i tell you what Armada Needs - Grand Admiral rose tico - preventing other ships to bump into enemies by bumping them on her own... Point value should be negative though
Clone Wars content/factions.
Or to really stir up the hate, I'd take a Yuuzhan Vong faction.
(dodges the rotten tomatoes being thrown)
