Definitely a contender. @Crabbok might be skewing the numbers / perception though by running lists with four of them.

That's the one I always take for Sato (APT etc) or for Fleet Commands. I'd say that one gets more use from me than the Command version.

I think the problem is I normally use it for long range stuff and put Spinals on it etc. so I want the extra red dice.

Prior to wave 7, I would've said the Interdictor. Nowadays, it's pretty good. There aren't any ships as a whole you won't see.

The best I have is variants you won't see much. For Imperials, it's easily the Interdictor Combat Refit. For Rebels, The Assault Frigate MkIIA. Those are just outclassed in nearly all circumstances by the alternative variant. Even combat flotillas see more table time than those two.

MC30 Scout or the VSD-1. The Scout is outclassed by the Torpedo Frigate, and the VSD-1 has the set of “VSD problems” (slow, awkward sizing, hard to stay on target) without the niche long range uses of a VSD-II.

Nothing to do with fear. Everything to do with lack of energy to learn to fly it properly. I would LOVE to try the Sloane variant I've seen around, but I have so many other fleets that would be more fun for my playstyle, that it gets shoved way down, and probably off, the list.

Interdictors are good right now and shame on anyone who thinks Arquitens are anywhere close to least used. I use enough of them to at least raise them into the top 4.

I'd say possibly Nebulons, Peltas, or Quasars at the moment.
