Questions 2.0

So I didn't understand some stuff from 2.0.

How does the new reinforce works?

how does the crew force works. supose I have 2 crew force users, both with a value of 2 force, does that force stays with the crew or goes to the ship card and both can be used for one purpose. if both have regen force do u regen one from each? and if u have a crew force user in a pilot not force user can u use the force to its general purpose(changing focus)?

I think it was stated you only gain 1 force regardless of the number of users onboard but that the starting pool is total of both

And reinforce changes a die instead of adding an evade, but the attacker has to be fully in the reinforced arc. If it splits the arcs, reinforce doesn't kick in

Reinforce reduces the damage taken by 1 to a minimum of 1 in the specified arc.

You only gain one force on a ship, doesn't matter how many upgrades you have with force points. You do start with more, though, so it is still an advantage at the start. I believe force tokens can be used across pilot and upgrades (this is NOT true with charge tokens).

Reinforce reduced damage by 1, to a minimum of 1 if the attacker is entirely within the arc of the reinforced half of the ship

all the force using crew we have seen so far have force ratings of “+X”, indicating that (unlike charge counters) force is pooled for the ship as a whole. You still only regain 1 force point each round, however.

There's already an official thread for this, stickied at the top of the forums:

Here's the thing on Reinforce. I've heard how they describe the reinforce effect. Damage is reduced by one, to a minimum of one. How, though? We haven't seen the exact rule. Does it cancel a hit result? Does it count damage cards received? Until we see a rulebook, we don't actually now. I'd be able to work with the quick description of the effect, but there are potential edge cases we cannot answer yet involving, say, Ion Turret. This was in another thread recently. If Reinforce works by cancelling a hit result, that would mean one fewer Ion tokens, but no change in damage. If it works when dealing damage cards and doesn't care about actual dice results, then it would essentially have no impact on ion weapons. Neither is better than the other per se, just different. But until we get an actual rule, we do not know..
