Or you might just need multiple sources of ion all the time.
Do you really need to kill him in one turn? His defenses will be crap for that round. If you have a decent number of ships you can put some serious damage onto him. One agility that MIGHT have a reroll is enough for 2 attack dice ships.
There is also the idea of setting him up for ordnance strike. Blast away a lot of his hull or even use an Ion Torp to set him up again.
After you cripple him it should be easy to take him down. I mean, it shouldn't be that hard to get a shot on the Falcon, even with Boost. When Ionized it would be a great time to get a cheap blocker in front if the Falcon. That ship can be pretty easy to block if you get a ship with BR in front of it. Even without blocking, you know he will want to be around asteroids and his dial isn't crazy. Every ship gets a BR, even if red. Against one Evade you don't need that much to punch hits through. He's already crippled. A few more rounds and it can't be too hard to kill, especially if he starts taking Crits with no shields.
This version of Fat Han seems so anemic when compared to the old. He can't escape like he used to. His defense is really standard for a large based ship (aka bad). His attacks aren't hitting that hard. I can't wait for people to fly it against me.
I will say that lists of only 3 ships might have a problem, but that's why I'm thinking 4-6 ships will be better in v2.
