So are these still happening? It feels like they are coming way late if they are supposed to give you a bye to continentals, at least for NA. Feels like FFG is really off the ball on this stuff. Nothing new of course, but feels somehow worse than usual.

The byes are for regional tournaments, the first of which were 11/25/2017.

Well I stand corrected. Guess it doesn't matter when we have them I guess. Still seems much later than last year for info on them.

JediGeekGirl's first "Meta Tracker Report" was for the week ending 5/13/2017. Regardless of whether that was the first week of store champs or just really close to it, I imagine there was a point where information was released for "upcoming store championships," which would have been before then.

So, yes. It is much later.

I have a feeling the lack of information has to do with Solo. I think I am wrong, mind you; I *think* it's just standard stuff, and for whatever reason everything has been a little delayed. But my *feeling* is that we haven't had any spoilers because the movie hasn't come out, and maybe the kits have to do with the movie, too. I'll be here and waiting for everyone to tell me I'm wrong come next Friday, after it's been in theaters for a week.

I would like it if there was some method to FFG' s particular madness, so I'd totally be for it.

Just imagine how nice it'd be if we had a proper tournament schedule.

The lack of organised play support for this game is ridiculous.

It's the same support ffg has provided for 10 years. It's fine the game is for fun, if want a job play magic.

I agree. The game is for fun.

Be nice if I had some organised events to play it at, maybe meet new people, see different players with different collections from around my area.

I mean, those events exist, and I find out about one in every 10 of them via facebook or word of mouth, meanwhile events take place a 20 minute drive from my house with 4 people attending because between FFG and the store, nobody actually wants me to play this fun game outside of my circle of friends, apparently.

I’m moving and I was trying to figure out how to find a LFGS, and I totally forgot about this page. Now I don’t have to call twenty video game stores before I can play Destiny.
