Even the humble TIE fighter or interceptor for the rebels would be great, due to all those blue dice and Toryn. That is why Z-Headhunters are red dice in the first place.
And Fel with Rieekan seems almost too evil.

By all means, explain this one to me, I enjoyed the x-wing novels a lot... Corran Horn and friends alone were a great addition to the Starwars Universe, let alone the Bacta War.

Luke in a TIE Bomber and Wedge in an Intrrceptor. Not a Defender because Eedge won't need it and I think he would be counter 4 thanks to his unique ability. Pretty scary

We did a "Mixed factions" tourny one weekend and got the hellish combo of:
Sloane + Squall Quasar + Toryn Far + Adar + Yavaris + Jendon + Maarek + BCCs + B-Wings +Rhymer
Everything dies to Speed "4" B Wings that fire distance 2 a billion times and token strip with reorolls forever.
Oh and Mauler double-activating with Adar is duuuumb.

Yea, Mauler is the best auto-damage in the game, no need to bother with Ten Numb, who is absurdly expensive, if Mauler defected:
Mauler + Adar Tallon = 2 Damage to squads / round, and he'd be easy to protect with Rebel's access to Escort.

Especiakky the last line, since baseline Imp Escort is cheaper in points (just not points-to-hull, because that speed bonus costs a bit)

YT-1300 + Jan = 3 Attack, 7 HP, Counter 1, Brace
All a lot better than the Imperial Escort options, in my opinion.
