Troll can't regenerate, can't use Flying Carpet, can't use Leprechaun teleport and by extension it's consistent that you can't use Torch, Hunchback, Clockwork Owl, Amulet of Speed and Amazon double-rolling.

But since Fate can be used to re-roll 1 die with Dice with Death, you should be able to spend Fate to re-roll 1 die for Riding Horse, so Sage re-rolling might be correct. I dislike the rule because it gives every Character a control he shouldn't have in Talisman (can choose which die to re-roll an which one to keep).
