The solo falcon? most likely was rushed to get made in time for the movies and might not have any 1.0 content ready for it so it was pushed off.

2.0 was internally supposed to be ready by now but had to be delayed twice, FFG was probably not given very much lead time for the solo falcon so if that was the case they might not have wanted to spend any time or money for 1.0 stuff knowing they were changing over to 2.0, when their release table got pushed back for 2.0 they could not release it because it had no 1.0 stuff in it. (this is all guessing other then the 2 delays)

This is my GUESS... I could be very very wrong.

It was the $5 pack of upgrade & title cards that would have fixed 1.0 forever....forever...forever....

Scum Falcon Hybrid set, too many spoilers to release announce before premier. Just a "Surprise!" Scum Falcon! and it is compatible with 2.0!

Well the devs did have a meeting about this in Trump tower, but I forget what was discussed.

No idea was just guessing, could be they opted to change the sku's to a new version in 2.0 and never bothered "changing" that one or updating their system lots of reasons.

the sku could have been a placeholder set a long way back for wave 14 that is just junk now... we don't know.
