When will we see the new 2.0 rules?

Chances are not until release. They are probably still working on combos and point balances so they may not want to put any incorrect information or expectations out there.

On the contrary, we'll have them in had no later than GenCon, as a community; the game will be on sale for early release then.

I doubt very much they're not finalised already - I'd be surprised if we don't see them on public release in the next few weeks given that they're already doing unboxing stuff.

No official announcement but I would expect PDFs to be available sometime between now and GenCon. My best guess is around the same time as Wave 14. Since there's V2 stuff in those boxes it would make sense to let us have the rules at that point but that's pure speculation on my part.

The printed ones will be out in the wild with the early release at GenCon so there's no reason for FFG to not put them online by then. Also it's pretty common for digital rules to be made available ahead of release so people can get up to speed. So at the latest my money would be on the week before GenCon if not sooner.

Look at team covonent on YouTube the have a discussion video and an example game both talking about rules and why they did it

Theoretically if someone were to be teaching demos at, say, Origins, they would know at least some of the new rules...

The demoers at UKGE knew very little more than anyone else, they literally only had the core sets, without the actual rulebooks in.
