Hello,

Poll questions, please limit response as this is for data gathering,

After yesterday are you more / Same / less excited about 2.0?

Did the information change your mind about purchasing 2.0 stuff? (Core, conversation, etc.....)

My plan was to get 2 core and 1 of each conversion kit to start but nothing preordered yet as I've yet to talk to the wife about it. What announcement did I miss yesterday (Work had me swamped).?

Unboxing video my good man, there are threads with links to it. Watch and enjoy 2 hours of spoilers ?

No change in purchases. Waaaay more excitement to see and use the APP!

They revealed a ton of cards and dials and such. Check the "All Screenshots from the Unboxing" thread.

Same

More excited, same purchase (1 core, 1 of each kit, plus 1 X-wing and 2 Y-wing expansions for the models)

Somewhat less excited after the unboxing. While I still plan to get each kit and am confident that the game will be balanced, I feel like they failed to really streamline the game and make it less convoluted. That, and some of the ships I was looking forward to using changed in ways I don’t care for.

Slightly less now that we know 360 PWTs are returning to 2.0 in the form of Luke crew.

Seeing the Ghost, A-Wing and YT-2400 has helped a bit.

It does really seem like they went ham handed with the rules. It’s similiar but just enough you’d be able to recognize it. This will take a good rules read to get all the new nuiances down. Which kinda defeats the purpose of attracting new players. All will be revealed in sept.

Still getting a core and one of all the conversions, plus a new Y-Wing and Fang Fighter for those new models.

Holy buffed defender action and stat line batman! Probably wont be able to fly 3 in a list anymore.

I’m more excited, I really liked all the ship changes. I still didn’t get a feel for quantiities of bases and cards, but from what they did show I feel we are in capable hands. I was already all in (2 of each), I placed my order long ago in case reveals like this caused preorder or day one shortages!

Roughly the same level of excitement, I expected them to deliver after what we've learned earlier.

No change in purchasing plans, still getting a core set + 1x Rebel kit, still convinced the core set is a shameless cash grab.

I plan to get the Core set, the rebel and imperial CKs, and the X-wing and Y-wing expansions.

No real change here. Excited for 2.0. Core set and 1 rebel and 1 imperial conversion for me.

A bit more excited after seeing what's become of some of my favorite ships (HWKS FOREVER!), though my purchasing plan is unchanged. A conversion pack for each and the core. Perhaps a little more confidence in the decision, though.

A bit less excited, i was hoping for more ability changes that are not purely cosmetic. Also i was hoping for removing as much complexity from the game as possible and it probably isn't going to happen (i often play against people who start to get confused when my ships have more than 2 abilities on them) This is more of an refresh that big rework that i wanted, but i'm still getting a core set, and one of every kit.

I'm going to have to set my "Never Lost to a HWK List" counter to zero to account for the changes at this point...

Less excited.

Still plan to eventually convert, but no enthusiasm or desire to preorder.

Need to see more of the new cards. Need to see what slots all ships have, and all upgrades for those slots, and the point costs of everything before I'll be sure I want to buy in.

I was planning on buying into the game for maybe one faction. I had issues with the 1e balance so I didn’t by into it. Now with the reveal of Moralo Eval, it seems that FFG still doesn’t understand balance or sensible abilities.

Literally, the only ability in STAW so overpowered that it is banned from Organized Play is now brought in by FFG and made far more powerful. I had thought FFG had learned some lesson about balance, but that makes me think they haven’t or don’t care. Either option isn’t good.

Before you you say that they can just make him expensive, realize that some abilities are so powerful that they can’t be balanced by cost. They are either overpowered or so badly overcosted as to be useless.

I never played attack wing, so out of curiosity, what was the overpowered ability? Moralo Eval doesn't look like an ability that's so strong you couldn't price it right. Look at TFA Han for something similar I think?

There are several cards that allow you to remove yourself from the play area and return to it at the end of turn. All had a limitation of outside range 3 of any enemy ships. Moralo is significantly more potent

Moralo is twice per game, along a specific board edge. His ability looks to be just a good way of turning that huge truck of a ship around.

Why was removing and returning yourself to the play area so broken there? I see why it's strong, but not game-warpingly broken. (not trolling, just don't understand).

Same, maybe slightly more. No change. 2 Imperial kits and a core.

Less but getting the same. 1 core and 1 conversion for Imperial and Scum
