Out of intrest, what where these in your opinion?

Edited by player2072913Super excited. More so than before. I am getting Core + Rebel Conversion. Plus at least one of every ship Expansion for Rebels. I may even go all in.

The complications are well designed and better executed than 1st so it may not be a problem
I am still not excited, but I am more appreciative of the effort that went into 2.0.
2.0 will be more complex, but I don't think it will be more complicated (to wit, the Quick-Build Cards).
I think the devs did a great job adding design space (Force power, Calculate to differentiate droids from Bags-of-Mostly-Water, Bulleye Arcs as a sweet spot for abilities, linked actions, etc. etc.) and revisiting everything all at once.
I am disappointed to see that they couldn't figure out how to make a 1-die attack ship workable. And that some favorite EU characters (Isard) are going to be dumped for "more canonical" characters.
For me the game is dormant. I see no reason to shell out cash for a game I can play just fine as-is (and actually can't convert to until Epic goes 2.0). So until they actually release new material (Solo movie ships, Prequel factions), get Epic up to speed, or y'all prove over the next year that 2.0 was really, truly, amazingly worth it, I'm in a holding pattern.
Repaints and resculpts may get me to buy the minis, but they won't get me to buy the game.
I am also sad that many of the other narrative players like @weisguy119 are also disaffected/stymied/marginalized by the 2.0 conversion and are also stuck in limbo.
Edited by Darth MeanieI am also getting a single Y-wing because new sculpt. I will just have to sell one of my old ones as scrap or make a TIE Ugly...
Oh 1st ed raw is a steamy pile of whatsit.
2nd looks way cleaner than 1st.
Im thinking I will try playing smaller games of 2nd
im thinking there are scenarios and such in the core that they have not spoiled. And I expect epic 2nd to be amazing.

Honestly, I’m losing interest. I’m not redoing all of my customs to work in 2.0. My second major project, a Rebel attack on an Imperial asteroid base, is nearing completion. I’ve come too far to bail on it now, so I’ll finish it and play test it sometime this summer. There will be a full Imgur pic album of the entire scenario.
However, I’m not sure if I want to continue with my third major project - Attack on Imperial Base Felucia. I might finish it some day. I’ve already done a lot of work on it. I’m just kind of disillusioned by the change at the moment. Right now, my plan is to convert any 2.0 models I like into ships that are compatible with 1.0. It’ll be far less work than converting all my customs over to 2.0. I'm a perfectionist and it would be an absolutely painstaking undertaking.
Edited by weisguy119More excited. That said, purchasing plans unchanged: I'll wait on buying anything until I am able to make an educated purchase. (or not...)
HYPED!!!!!! (Except for Dengars Dial
) - Purchasing Plans Unchanged - 1 Core, 1 Rebel, 1 Scum, 1 Imps
