it's just the ARC itself doesn't do anything cool, it's just a 3 die primary with a 2 die aux arc. no reinforce nor ship-specific text nor anything, at first glance it's just a boring jouster that'll probably get devoured by more efficient ships
3 die primary with 2 attack turret is what the shadowcaster now is.
K-Wings and ARCs: This is kinda broken record, but I think a lot will come down to upgrades and costs: that is, the two pieces of information we don't have.
What the 1E ARC did that other ships didn't was combine crew and droid slots. That always lead to interesting upgrade synergies. I'd guess 2E ARC has some potential in that regard, provided it's about as cost efficient as other ships .
With K-Wings, they're basically Y-Wings with an extra shield, a built-in Dorsal Turret, and the reload reduced from a red to white action. Astromech and Crew upgrades are probably switched, so different flavor but probably not a huge difference. So I'd guess it'd come down to points. 1E, the basic K-Wing was 5 points more than a Y-Wing. If 2E K-Wings are 10 points more than 2E Y-Wings, it'll certainly be useless. But I don't think that magnitude of point difference will be there. If things are priced remotely well against each other , K-Wing vs Y-Wing seems like it be about feel more than anything. Crew vs Droid. White SLAM vs Red K-Turns and Red Barrel Rolls.

As I've said before, Ks are now in the prime spot for systems upgrades. a bomb launching sabine K would be a terrifying prospect for a jouster to face
Otherwise rebels can't launch bombs and ks get nothing interesting to do

Given there's like, 4 guys in a K-Wing and we're not limited by upgrade bars, K-Wings could be a ship which can combine Gunners and Crew in a medium base, which might have interesting effects for their various weapon sub-systems.
But yeah, assuming T-sim is still in (and hopefully with weird action craziness being reduced no serious problem) with the H-6 back to scum only rebels don't have a good ship to use it.
