That was kind of the point of 2.0. You get all those back. Jumpmaster' reworked perma nerfed dial hurts. It hurts a lot.

It's okay...just convert to Rebel.

The new YT24 dial has the white S.loop.you are looking for....

Where do you all get this information from? In this thread, you who have seen the dial, complete ship card, title, crew and droids upgrades please image link or post a link so those of us who haven't seen them get a clue of what you are basing your analysis on. Thanks.

Ps. If you have seen it all, I'd be keen to find details about the Starviper and Aggressors too. Ds.

I expect that when you want to go for mobility, then you take a droid which makes the maneuvers easier. You get the bonus of additional firepower on the primary.

If you want to go for ordnance, crew seems better.

I like that you have to do the trade. Ships like the old punishing one (or miranda or nym...) which cover all bases, that's what this game does not need at all.

This .

It cannot be stared enough, let’s hope their day is over ?

Thanks. What are the sources?

Starviper and Aggressor info specifically comes mainly from the unboxing stream from last Friday. Should still be up on the FFGLive twitch page to see it firsthand.

The rest of the info in there comes from lots of sources, leaked Polish and Spanish cards, original Worlds stream, Team Covenant demos and interviews, other podcasts that came out since the 2.0 reveal, etc. It would have been nice to keep all that source info in there but alas that did not happen.

You must remember that unlike the Lancer, the Jumpmaster can't get 180 degrees arc coverage. It's going to be a lot harder to just keep the arc fixed.

You do kind of get the same coverage when carrying a torp though, and I'm guessing this is probably the reason for the single turret arc.

I have no idea what you're talking about. The YT2400 only has a 4K and it's red.

The YT1300 has red 3Sloops and a red 4K.

Does anything have a white Sloop?

No, it's a bad joke.

I saw a dial somewhere.

Nevermind.

I also heard that the HWK is the new Jumpmaster, so there's that.

I think a blue hard turn would have been okay on the ship. Now that it has a drawback.

I'm not super sad however that Dengar will be just your average, non-dominating guy. He has a strong ability, with an okay chassis. The Jumpmaster should never have been more. It's a fairly obscure character, with TP rolled around his head...

I'm very happy that Boba is stronger than Dengar. He should be, even if Dengar is the superior pilot.

A blue 2 turn would have been nice, but would it have been worth giving up three and one straight blues for it?

IMO that should be the aim of a balanced game, that everyone is your average, non-dominating guy. If Boba is stronger than Dengar, then it should also be priced accordingly.

If you were to forget the 1st edition version and try to imagine the Jumpmaster in "lore" (whatever that might mean; I guess a long haul hyperspace scouting craft?) and then exaggerate it's combat effectiveness to the point where it might have some reasonable place on the battlefield, you'd end up pretty close to where it looks like for second edition. Fine with me. Dengar, a successful bounty hunter, has a tricked out version of the scow that's better than others? ok, that might have some tricks, but it's still not going to be a reliably dominate vessel. Sounds about right to me. Let go of the baggage of 1st edition, ladies and gents. Close your eyes. Reach out. What do you feel?

It's been a while since I read the stories with Dengar. Was there any indication that his ship was super-awesome?

Its called The Punishing One

Now it's true to the name. It's really punishing one if one chooses to fly it :P

Having read up on the compilation, I think the Jumpmaster will be interesting now. Challenging dial is way more fun than too good dial. Just point cost it correctly and we will fly it.

Happy for the Aggressor abilities and titles. In addition to B+C brobots I can see myself trying A+C. With Afterburners and the C ability, you could either Lock or Evade/boost to Evade one and share a calculate token from the other. Then switch (bait and switch) for a token stacked brobot each turn. Will require skill to keep in range though. (And also FCS requires you to action lock at some point). Also S-loop/4K+ boost is going to be awesome even without getting an evade token (now evade action).

Sure A is not going to do much on its own if C dies, so it's probably the friendly build and B+C the hopefully competitive. I wonder what the Mangler cannon/Ion cannon will do. Bullseye arc HLC is not going to be that easy to get.

Also IG88A + Guri are going to be friends. I love the new Guri (with higher Initiative and blue 2-banks).

Of the Scum ships I think the Firespray is the early winner. Kooshka Frost in Marauder paired with Assaj/Hel/4-Lom to give stress will be interesting to try. Boba will also be strong with built in boost.

Kaths new ability is fluffy and thematic but much weaker, but sure z95 swarms blocking for her will look cool.

Sad to see that Talonbane has dropped to I5, and without a red boost you can't equip engine upgrade. Even the hwk290 has a red boost..

Also, who referred to Guri's pilot ability as "his" in the document!? Minus points.
